Common Questions
How do I log a meal?
Tap the camera icon on the home screen to take a photo of your meal, or use the chat feature to describe what you ate. AIONA will analyse it and track your nutrition automatically.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel your AIONA subscription.
How do I give feedback on an AIONA response?
Every AIONA message has a small toolbar below it with three actions:
- Copy — copies the message text to the clipboard
- Thumbs up — marks the response as helpful
- Thumbs down — opens a feedback form to report an issue
Tapping thumbs up sends a positive signal immediately with no additional steps required.
Tapping thumbs down opens a short form where you can:
- Choose the type of issue from a list (optional)
- Add free-text details to explain what went wrong (optional)
- Press Send to submit
When rating a response negatively, you can select one of the following issue types:
- Incorrect or incomplete — the information was wrong or key details were missing
- Not what I asked for — the response did not address the question
- Slow or buggy — the app or response experienced a technical problem
- Style or tone — the response felt too formal, too casual, or otherwise off
- Safety or legal concern — the response contained something potentially harmful or inappropriate
- Other — anything that does not fit the categories above
You may leave the issue set to None if you prefer to submit feedback without categorising it.
Submitted ratings are stored and reviewed to identify patterns in response quality. They help prioritise improvements to AIONA's knowledge, reasoning, and communication style. Your feedback is linked to the conversation context so reviewers can understand what led to a poor response.
You can change a rating at any time by tapping the other thumb icon on the same message. The most recent rating replaces the previous one.
For safety or legal concerns, use the Safety or legal concern issue type. This flags the response for priority review.
